Guess what we’re going to build this weekend
As some of you might know, we’re going to build another mashup this weekend.
Currently, the idea is still rough. We spend some time on thinking and made it to a global concept. During the weekend it probably shape up and will be different compared to the idea we have right now. We hardly can’t wait to tomorrow morning. To have a bit fun in advance we came up with this little competition.
Guess what we’re going to build and win a still-to-be-designed startup tee!
We throw in a little help. We will build it within one weekend, and it will be a Twitter mashup. And to give a little more direction, here are two hints:

Submit your guess as a comment to this blogpost. We will review them all. Five t-shirts will be available. If there are more than five correct answers we’ll raffle five winners!
Submit your guess before 10 a.m. tomorrow. After 10 a.m. we announce the mashup!
Teleportation! Than I can get rid of that old timetravel machine and have it all in one simple teleportation app! Oh and please give it some nice colors - the ones on my old time travel machine or soooo 2010.
PS If you’re not going to build a teleport app, could you at least build something to keep up with my low-volume tweeps (those who post once or twice a day) but get lost in my 700+ following stream. Preferably also add groups. And well when you guys are at it, just build a decent Tweetdeck replacement alltogether. You have 48 hours so that should be doable right?

Hmm I love the teleportation part. We should do that… You’re the first to enter the contest. Spread the word!
A virtual twitter borrel, with real drinks
Or a mashup which will display the tweets you need the most and hide the rest.
I’d say you build a twitter client that only shows the last update of all people you follow.
Ipv kijken en evt terugbladeren (=dus in tijd) wat je vrienden wanneer gedaan hebben…
Hoop ik dat het ongeveer wordt:
# Overzicht gesplitst naar a) wederzijdse vrienden (volgen elkaar) en b) mensen die jij volgt
# Met een tijdslijn (als plurk maar beter) die per tijdsvak de tweets toont van a) en b)
# Aangevuld met: een visuele weergave obv keywords/tags plaats en tijd
Zeg maar een tagcloud 2.0 versie in 3d of met onderlinge verbanden in een matrix. Je vrienden en je vrienden’s vrienden snel en intuitief doorzoekbaar…
# en eentje waarbij de links met foto, video, live video op een betere manier worden vormgegeven.
Dat dus! Kom maar door met dat t-shirts? (maak ik reclame voor jullie nieuwe startup :-p)

Nieuwe functie geven aan het gebruik van hashtag: het declareren van persoonlijke doelen, creatieve intenties, en het liefst: problemen

Een twitter mashup waar je alle openbaar vervoer tijden mee kan bijhouden, een soort ‘trein’ voor de iphone alleen dan via twitter, ideaal voor forenzende twittazi ^_^ oh en dat je dan een spontane twitterborrel kan houden op Utrecht Centraal ofzo, of draaf ik nu te ver door

Geen aparte client, dat is te clunky. De app pakt inderdaad het probleem aan dat je niet de tweets ziet die je zou willen zien. Maar ‘groepen’ zijn te statisch, die moet je bijhouden.
Ik denk dat de app/service relevante tweets en groepen tweets laat zien, gebaseerd op een analyse van je tweets, met name jouw replies. Een social graph wordt gemaakt en toont op een intuïtieve manier belangrijke tweets.
Maar hoe? Dan kom je toch op een client uit. Ik weet het niet meer…
